NATURAL
CONNECTING IMAGE 56 C
|
(documentation for a 3D virtual voyage)
Visit to a natural environment (symmetrical and asymmetrical trees, wild
flowers and plants, alpine meadows, rocks, little water ponds,
mountains, blue sky, clouds...), altitude, approximately 2000 meters.
In the natural world, connectors are provided
to facilitate the passage between the different elements (forms, color,
light, shade...). The ease of movement from one form to another is so
subtle that we are unaware of it, unless we spend a great amount of time
surrounded by nature or unified sensory information.
NCI 56, visually speaking, is meant to
demonstrate how natural forms complement one another.
The following
files do not include written explanations as they are conceived for a
visual reading. If you find it difficult to visually read them, it is
recommended to view them more than once while listening to unified music
(high level of connecting sounds that can help the viewer to
concentrate...). They are also meant
to be viewed in progression, as each file evolves from the previous
ones.
The purpose of the enclosed photographs is
to document this natural connecting image.
To be viewed on a screen (1000 pixels or more) in width.
It is recommended to visually read the discovery "transition".
Theory:
NATURE PROVIDES A VISUAL BLUEPRINT OF THE HUMAN MIND.

NATURAL
CONNECTING IMAGE 63
|
“Exceptionally well-disguised
COMPLEMENTARITY”
The natural
connecting image 63 known as grasshopper pass, is a high altitude hike
located in the North Cascades, Washington, USA.
This visual
explanation aims at explaining the IMPORTANCE of complementarity that
may sometimes appear mysterious.
In the natural world, connectors are provided
to facilitate the passage between the different elements (forms, color,
light, shade...). The ease of movement from one form to another is so
subtle that we are unaware of it, unless we spend a great amount of time
surrounded by nature or unified sensory information. NCI 63, visually
speaking, is meant to demonstrate how natural forms complement one
another, even if this complementarity is sometimes tiny to compare to
the rest. The vegetation of NCI 63 consists of mainly asymmetrical
trees, flowers and plants, alpine meadows, rocks, sand, small ponds of
water, mountains, blue sky, clouds… Its length is 8 kilometers and a bit
more at an altitude of approximately 2000 meters.
Some of its purposes are to illustrate the
basic visual organization of an almost untouched natural environment and
use it as an example for future virtual 3D voyages. It provides access
to unified sensory information for those who are surrounded by broken
sensory information.
The images are used to document this natural
connecting image. They were taken with an Olympus e620 / lens 14-54mm
and a Sony a33 / lens Minolta 28-135mm, one the same day. Because of its
location, Harts Pass, North Cascades, Washington, I visited this
location only a few times during the 1990s and went back at the
beginning of October 2012. Be aware that the localization of some of
these images might not 100%.
For more information, view the NCIs 61D, 64 and
65. In NCI 61D, the
preparation to move from reduced light (shade in section 2) to maximum
light (small lake = large clearing) is 3.4 kilometers. In transition
4-61, the opposition large-small, is less 100m. In NCI 64, the one
kilometer exercise ends inside a clearing with maximum light. In NCI 65,
the exercise clarifies the importance at including the connecting
elements between the oppositions. In NCI 66, the exercise clarifies the
importance to be surrounded by elements which reflect ø. It is also
suggested to visually read the discovery "transition".

MINIMAL INFORMATION
These
files do not include written explanations as
they are conceived for a visual reading. If
you find it difficult to visually read them,
it is recommended to view them more than
once while listening to unified music (high
level of connecting sounds that can help to
concentrate...).
They are also meant to be viewed in
progression, as each file evolves from the
previous ones. The continuity
between these
files provides a
better comprehension.
The blue purple ellipses at the bottom of
each section are the links to the files,
either a solo PDF or a Zip file (more than
one PDF). These PDFs files (3840-6144 x
30000 pixels) are meant to be viewed on a
large or multiple monitors and or a screen
with a projector.
Their size vary from 1.91.to13mb except for the map that is 82kb. These
files are password protected and
can all be printed, quality internet. They
can be opened with acrobat 7.0 or later and
their visual quality is slightly above 50%.
The ZIPs have not been compressed.
The color red purple indicates the area to
be viewed (the arrows = the place where the
photographs were taken). The yellow green
lines are used for connecting the diagrams
2d & 3d to the images. The red Xs in
63-Transition-2 indicate the lines that do
not communicate with the others, this can be
verified by any experts in mind scanning
using MRI technology: Any non-connecting
lines, for example oblique among vertical =
dead branches or trees, have to be processed
by the human mind. This means that the
physical presence of these oblique lines is
an obstacle for accessing the exploration
mode. Fortunately in most healthy natural
forests, the dead wood is limited to the
ground, between 1-10% of the visual
information. Suggestion: Not to be included,
if part of a virtual 3D voyage, because the
level of visual perception is not the same
as fully living the experience, and this
from all angles.
