VITOCKEY© is a game played inside an elliptical surface. A puck that slides inside an ellipse provides an exceptional experience because of the resulting motion of the players and the puck, long curves leading to shorter ones and vice versa. Because of the CONTINUITY of the elliptical curve, this new game can display almost continuous motion, facilitating concentration and enjoyment for the spectators and participants. |

SOMES of the ADVANTAGES |
|
1 |
An arena with an elliptical surface (North American or Olympic format)
adds more seats for the spectators.
|
2 |
An elliptical surface minimizes the number
of
stops
of
play
because the curve is always lower than a 90 degrees angle and its
CONTINUOUS curved board increases the speed of the puck.
|
3 |
There is no icing because of the curved board behind the goals.
When the puck touches the end section, it returns to the center
of the rink by itself, depending on its original speed. |
4 |
There is no interference with the goalie behind the goal because
the distance from the back of the goal to the end curved board,
is 4.56 meters, too far for the goalie to go back and forth.
Suggestion: To compensate and because of the speed of this game,
the goalie has a large semi circle crest that is protected. |
5 |
The elliptical board is highly used for passes between participants
and can be almost regarded as the equivalent of an additional player.
It introduces the
straight lined / curved pass (combination of the straight line with
the curve)
and the curved pass.
This game is a synonym of PASS & SCORE (see the virtual animation). |
6 |
This ice surface allows all good skaters to take part in this new
game, no matter what their size. It
opens the door to all sorts of improvement, for example: The athletes
have the opportunity to enhance their ability to skate, etc.
|
7 |
A lot of injuries and physical interactions occur when the participants
hit the boards at a 90 degree angle. Due to the continuous curve,
90 degree collisions will be limited. |
8 |
This elliptical skating rink, when covered with ice, can have many
uses: Vitockey, broomball, figure and ice-skating.
On
concrete it can be used for inline /
roller
vitockey, lacrosse,
soccer
and inline /
roller
skating, and on the ground or the grass for lacrosse, soccer, etc. |
9 |
An advantage of this kit is that the manufacturer does not have
to be concerned with illegal copies because of the precision of
the curve, it requires three moulds to make the ellipse and the
process of pouring aluminum makes it possible to obtain identical
vertebrae and keep the precision of the ellipse.
Making the vertebrae with welded steel could be used for a prototype. |
10 |
It
introduces standardization and simplification of the game, thereby
increasing economies of scale and reducing costs per rink. |
11 |
With a
controlled environment that reflects the movement of the universe,
the
spectator
can easily understand this new game, because the players make greater
use of the curve than any other sport by skating from large to medium
and vice versa. New motion reflecting the curve is enhanced. Architects
Gaudi and Cardinal have clearly demonstrated that the curve is easily
recognized by the thought process. |
12 |
A transitional color kit (new discovery / invention) must be used
because of the speed of this new game. It consists of organizing
each element so that when the players and the referee are moving,
their equipment
complements
the rest of the game. If the above is not in place, we must unconsciously
find the missing links to minimize constant oppositions.
Of course this is true for all sports, but with this new game, we
must adapt to this contained environment (board) more quickly than
any other non motorized sports.
This is also accentuated by the defined surface (very large and
light grey) compared to the pursued object, a puck (very small and
a dark color). |
13 |
The use of Parallel Color © (new discovery / invention) plays an
important role in the making of a transitional color kit and in
reducing the numbers of referees on the ice (1 instead of 4) because
it aims at improving one’s performance.
|
14 |
The surface of a rounded rectangular rink, 25.9 meters in width
x 60.96 meters in length = 1579 square meters divided by 16 (12
players + 4 referees) = 98.679 square meters per person on the ice.
The ice surface of an elliptical surface 25.9 meters in width x
60.96 meters in length = 1240.3 square meters (approximately) divided
by 13 (12 players + 1 referee) = 95.41 square meters per person
on the ice.
The ice surface of an elliptical surface 30.48 meters in width x
60.96 meters in length = 1459.2 square meters (approximately) divided
by 13 (12 players + 1 referee) = 112.246 square meters per person
on the ice.
The ellipse’s surface, being smaller than the rounded rectangle,
makes it important to reduce the number of participants on the ice
as demonstrated above and to free the game even more.
The
elliptical Olympic format with its 112.246 square meters per person
on the ice is ideally the most suitable towards improving the plays. |
15 |
Being a new game, the players have the last say in deciding the
rules, because they are the only ones to experience it fully.
Anyone can put forward a suggestion to improve the
game which
is verified, and either approved or rejected by the players.
|
16 |
OCTOBER 2011: With only two hours of practice inside HALF an ellipse,
North American format, the players involved in this demonstration,
found that the puck never stands still. For more information, please
view the HTML "Ice
level kit". |
17 |
The ellipse brings a large variety of passes by shooting the puck
towards it, from different angles.
For more information, please view the PDF "Exercises". |
18 |
JANUARY 2012: When the puck hits the board behind the goal, the chances that it bounces in front of the goal are quite minimal because of the curvature of the ellipse. The addition of the horizontal Golden triangle creates a stronger connection between the Golden rectangle of the ends (goals, front view) and the central Golden rectangle (four circles between the green blue lines for outside or penalties). This should help improving the precision of the shoots at the goal, plus having plays on all the surface (center, in front and behind the goals), each team might have to use two interchangeable goalies.
For more information, Please view the PDFs "Dimensions-NA-O-En". |
19 | APRIL 2012: Please view "Systematic approach" from the age of 5... and EXERCISE according to the infinite symbol. |
20 |
MAY 2012: The
value of an experience can be rated according to its number of
possibilities. For example in a game it would be the amount of
different plays: Vitockey with its continuous elliptical board
introduces an exceptional amount of passes, followed by
hockey with its rounded rectangle board, volleyball with the use
of its net, basketball, etc). Another example would be the
amount of improvement in image making: Painting with its almost
infinite number of retouches, followed by drawing, photography,
etc). |
21 |
NOVEMBER 2015: KEY, the motion reflected by
the game vitockey is definitely more communicative than any
other sports. The same applies for motion reproduces with the
use of skates (on ice or cement…) compare to regular shoes. |

PROPOSED RESEARCH CENTER
The following are some of its purposes:
To measure the psychological effects of a parallel versus a non
parallel environment.
To evaluate the adequate level of unified sensory information needed
to stimulate the desire to discover.
To verify theories like:
•
When surrounded by unified sensory information we can act clearly
and almost instantaneously.
•
The majority of the athletes have more precise reflexes in a parallel
environment.
•
The
majority of the athletes can
play for longer periods of time in a parallel environment compared
to a non parallel.
•
Teams have less up and down performances in a parallel environment.
•
Unified sensory information awakens positive behaviors such as mutual
respect... |
|
The pioneers of the Olympiads viewed sports as an important vehicle
towards the unification of humanity.
Athletes not only provide entertainment but they can
be key players in
creating environments that
free the thought process
so that we can pursue answers to present ecological, political,
and social problems.
Through animations and virtual games, it is logical to conclude
that the world of sports will eventually put into use these highly
recognizable environments, visually speaking. The arrival of the
new technology has demonstrated that more than 50% of the population
is directly or indirectly involved with sports. |
